Location: Woodlands Park Primary School, Heywood Avenue, Maidenhead, SL6 3JB
Date: Saturday 20th July 2013
Time: 9am onwards – finishing around 1pm
Social Action is an integral part of the Conservative Party. A day where we put politics aside, for people to come together to help the local community. Within the Association boundaries, there are a number of schools and charities who need help and as much as we would love to help them all, we can't. However there is one school we can assist: Woodlands Park Primary School, in Maidenhead. They are need in desperate need of our assistance painting a classroom and bringing down 2 sheds. The sheds require some careful attention as it has glass windows so if you specialise in removing glass, your expertise would be most appreciated!
We will head to the nearby, Beehive pub for a well deserved lunch and rest before parting ways.
Any 30 minutes or 1 hour you can spare will be crucial. Please feel free to bring family and friends to help as it’s about helping those in our communities & any help will be welcome. It goes without saying, that suitable clothing must be worn and if you could bring a labeled paintbrush with you that would be fantastic!
The important thing is to remember your contribution will really help this school next year. If you can assist please email: [email protected] or call 07810 642669 so she can get an idea of numbers.
Kind Regards
